March 31, 2019 ~ "The Great Exchange"
Youth & Worship Pastor, Rory Dardich
1 John 2:15-17 warns us about being well-pleased and contented with what the world offers. If it was clearly sin to have or do some of these things many would have no problem knowing what to do: flee! But it is not sin to simply have possessions or even wealth. Our culture, wealth and freedom make it easy for us to be invested in the world - even love it - without recognizing it. Many of us are still looking through the world’s lens and are enthralled with what it has to offer us. How do you handle living here but actually living FOR your true home?
