Be submissive to our earthly authorities, even unjust ones. (v. 18)

1. Because unjust suffering is evidence of God’s grace. (v. 19-20)
2. Because Christ’s suffering is an example for us to follow. (v. 21-23)
3. Because Christ’s suffering provides the power for us to suffer unjustly. (v. 24-25)
